We also know we have a responsibility to respect your privacy, and we work hard to do that. We offer a wide range of services that focus on helping our users evaluate real estate investment opportunities. We use the information you give us to provide our services and help you find your next real estate investment.
We carefully evaluate how we use data to make sure that we’re using your information to provide the best services you. When you use our services, we collect a variety of information from and about you and your devices. Some of this information identifies you directly (like an email address) while some of it is associated with you through your account, profile, or device (like the properties you research or your location data).
The kind of data we collect about you depends on how you use Padvest. Even if you don’t have an account with us, we may still collect some data about you, like your email address and phone number, or your IP address, and other device information when you browse our website or use our mobile app.
When you use our services, we often ask you for information about yourself. This usually includes basic things like your name, email address, home address, credit score range, and phone number. We also collect information from you about your investment preferences as part of your “Investor Profile” in order to personalize your searching and reporting processes. We may also use anonymized and aggregate views of this data for offering new or improved features from time to time. Some of these additional features may involve asking you for additional information. If you contribute additional information, we will store that as well.
When you use Padvest’s services to find an investment property, we give you a set of tools to find your next investment. If you tell us what you’re looking for, such as the geographic location and type of property, we save that information so that we can tailor your search results to what you’re looking for.
We also collect your contact and payment details, along with professional information such as brokerage affiliation, associated listings and sales, and licensing history.
Padvest collects information from public sources, such as county and state tax and property records, government agencies, and multiple listing services (or MLS). Most of this information is about properties, not people. But some information we collect, like the identity of a property’s owner, may relate to individuals.
Padvest may share your personal information with service providers and other third parties who need access to your information to provide operational or other support services‚ such as payment processors and companies that help us improve our product and service offers and our website and mobile app. For example, Okta manages all user account information such as username, email, and password. We also use SmartyStreets and Google for address services; Google for online analytics; Zillow, Melissa, and other companies for public record information; and Rollbar for automatic application error reporting. We require our service providers to keep your information secure. In addition, unless otherwise disclosed to you‚ our service providers are not authorized to use or disclose your personal information for their own marketing purposes.
Along with the information you give us directly, we collect a variety of information automatically as you use Padvest services. Examples of information we collect include the following:
Activity information
We collect information about how you use Padvest. This includes things like your property search history, properties you view, purchase activity, what you’ve clicked on and other uses of our features, and the amount of time you spend looking at different parts of our website. When you call or text Padvest, we collect data about your call or text, including the date and time of the call or text, your phone number, and the content of the call or text.
Device information
Like other websites and applications, we collect data about the browsers and devices you use to access Padvest. The data we collect includes browser or device model and settings, operating system, unique identifiers, and the version of the mobile app you’re using. We also collect data about how your browsers and devices interact with our services, including IP address, crash reports, system activity, and the date, time, and the URL of the website you visited before Padvest.You can control our collection of certain data, such as your mobile device model or the language your mobile device uses, by adjusting the privacy and security settings on your mobile device.
Location Information
If you enable location services on your device, Padvest collects the location of your device. We use that information to provide you with location-based information and ads, like properties in your area. If you don’t want to use these features, you can turn off location services on your device.We also collect location information for similar purposes from your browser if you enable it. You can disable access through your browser settings.
Cookies, pixel tags, and other tracking technologies
We and our partners use various tools to collect data when you visit our website and mobile app, including cookies, pixel tags, and other similar technologies. Cookies are bits of electronic data that can be transferred to your computer or other device to identify your browser.When you use Padvest, we and our partners may use cookies and other tools to gather information about how you view and use our services and content, and to connect your activity with other data we store about you. Social networks
If you use social media logins (like Google and Facebook) to log in to Padvest, we may access your public social media profile information. You can always limit this sharing using your social media service settings.
Inferences
To improve our services and make them more useful to you, we use data about your activity to understand and infer your preferences in investment properties.
We use your information to provide our services to you. This includes things like returning property search results. We also use your information to improve our existing services and develop new ones. For example, we track how you use our website and mobile app and use that information to troubleshoot issues and adjust things to improve your experience.
We use the contact information you provide us, like your phone number and email address, to communicate with you about our services. This includes things like responding to comments, questions, and requests you send us. It also includes notifying you of service updates and changes. We may also inform you about our services, offers, promotions, news, and other updates we think may be of interest to you.

Please allow a reasonable time for your preferences to be processed. It may take up to 10 days to process your requests related to email and two to four weeks to process other requests.
We may still contact you for transactional purposes such as customer service‚ product information‚ service notices‚ or recalls. We may also contact you with questions or information regarding your order‚ such as regarding order status‚ shipment‚ or refunds.
We may retain your personal data even after you have made certain choices if reasonably necessary to comply with our legal obligations (including law enforcement requests), meet regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, or fulfill your request to "unsubscribe" from further messages from us. When Padvest hires a service provider to help operate our business, we may need to give them access to information to provide their service. We allow them to use the information only to perform the service we’ve asked them to perform. We vet all service providers carefully, and Padvest always remains responsible for the privacy of your information that is shared with our service providers.
When Padvest partners with other businesses to offer products and services to you, we may share information with those partners only as needed to provide those products and services and only subject to the terms of this privacy policy.
We may work with third party service providers who help serve ads on our behalf on various online advertising networks. The online ad networks may use your browsing history across participating websites to show you interest-based advertisements on those websites. You may see ads for Padvest on participating websites based on how you browse our website as well as how you browse those websites.

Email subscriptions
